In the end I couldn’t resist the temptation of a fast, flat city marathon, so this evening I entered the Rotterdam Marathon, booked a hotel and ninety percent of the necessary travel.
Quite an expense, but I hope it will be worth it as the most likely course available with my work restrictions to secure a 2:45 marathon.
